VISCOSAFE contains Sodium Hyaluronate which belongs to the group of medicines called Ophthalmic Viscoelastic Agent. It is used in the treatment of mild to severe dry eyes, post-operated dry eyes and corneal burns.
Dry eye that occurs when tears aren’t able to provide adequate moisture, it can affect one or both of the eyes. It occurs due to various reasons such as environmental conditions, due to aging, use of contact lenses and medications. Symptoms include dry, red and inflamed, discomfort and sensitivity to light.
Before using VISCOSAFE inform your doctor if you have narrow angle glaucoma and if you wear contact lenses.
