Aurolube Eye Drop

Atrop Eye Drops 5 ml belongs to a group of medicines called mydriatics and cycloplegics used to treat uveitis or iritis (inflammation in the eye) and myopia (near-sightedness). It is also indicated for cycloplegia (paralysis of the ciliary eye muscle), mydriasis (dilation of the pupil), and the penalisation of the healthy eye in the treatment of amblyopia (decreased eyesight due to abnormal vision development). Besides this, Atrop Eye Drops 5 ml is also used before certain eye examinations to widen the pupil and to diagnose eye problems such as blurred vision in children below 6 years and in children with convergent strabismus (cross-eyes or squint).

Atrop Eye Drops 5 ml contains ‘atropine’, which relaxes the muscles in the eye, thereby making the pupil of the eye appear larger. This makes it easier for an eye examination. Atrop Eye Drops 5 ml reduces pain and allows the inflamed part of the eye to rest and recover by relaxing the eye muscles.

Aurocaine Eye Drop contains Proparacaine which belongs to the group of medicines called Local anesthetic agents. It is indicated for topical anesthesia in ophthalmic practice. It is used to cause temporary numbness of the eye, prior to any eye examination (such as tonometry or gonioscope) or ophthalmic procedures (such as cataracts, conjunctival scraping or removal of sutures or foreign bodies from the eye).

Proparacaine is a fast-acting local anesthetic agent. It decreases pain sensation and cause temporary numbness in the eye by blocking the transfer of pain signals from the peripheral part of the body (i.e., eye) to the brain. Aurocaine Eye Drop is a very fast acting anesthetic agent which brings in anesthesia within 30 seconds of application and the anesthetic effects may last up to 10-15 minutes or longer.

Aurohom Eye Drops is a medicine used to widen the pupil before an eye examination or eye surgery. It is also used to treat uveitis, a condition that causes swelling in the middle layer of the eye. This medicine works by relaxing the muscles of your eyes, thus helping to dilate or widen your pupil (the black circular opening in the centre of the eye that allows light to enter the eye). It also helps reduce pain and swelling.

Aurohom Eye Drops shows common side effects such as dry mouth, stinging and burning sensation in the eyes, mild irritation, etc. These side effects usually subside with time. However, if they persist or worsen, consult your doctor for further assistance. Avoid driving vehicles or operating heavy machines while taking this medication as it can cause temporary blurring of vision and increased sensitivity to light.

AUROPROST RT EYE DROPS contains Latanoprost which belongs to the group of medicines called Prostaglandin analogs. It is used to treat open angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension (both linked to increased pressure in the eye). Glaucoma is a group of diseases characterized by gradual damage to the optic nerve (nerves that carry visual messages), that may result in loss of vision. Prior to the treatment, your doctor may want you to take certain eye tests to understand your existing condition.

Before using AUROPROST RT EYE DROPS, inform your doctor if you or your child have eye problems (pain, irritation or inflammation of eyes, blurred vision or dry eyes) or viral infection of the eye. Also inform your doctor if you have severe asthma, are using contact lens or going to have an eye surgery (cataract surgery).

Aurotim Eye Drop is used to treat elevated intraocular pressure (high pressure inside the eye) in people with ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma. It helps reduce the risk of vision loss in these conditions. It lowers the pressure in the eye by decreasing the production of fluid.

Always wash your hands before using Aurotim Eye Drop. Use only the number of drops that your doctor has prescribed. If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before using the drops and wait for at least 15 minutes before putting them back in. If you are also using other eye medicines, wait for at least 10 minutes before using them. Read the leaflet that comes with the medicine for a full guide on how to use the drops and get the most benefit. Do not touch the tip of the dropper or bottle with anything as this may lead to infection.

You should use this medicine regularly to get the most benefit and it is best used at the same time(s) each day. If you want to stop using it, consult your doctor first. The most common side effects are burning and stinging sensations in the eye.  Consult your doctor if you are bothered by these or any other side effects.

Do not use this medicine if you have asthma, severe COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), or a serious heart condition. Inform your doctor if you have, or have had, coronary heart disease, heart failure, diabetes, breathing problems, an overactive thyroid gland or liver, or kidney disease. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking this medicine.
