TIMOSIGHT contains Timolol which belongs to the group of medicines called Beta-blockers. It is used to treat raised pressure in eyes which occurs in various conditions including glaucoma and ocular hypertension. Ocular hypertension is when the pressure inside the eye is higher than normal with no signs of vision loss. Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that damage the optic nerve and can cause blindness. Symptoms include patchy blind spots, severe headache, eye pain and redness, nausea, vomiting, blurred vision and halos around lights.
Timolol inhibits binding of certain receptors (beta receptors) on the tissues lining the inner wall of eyeball. These tissues increase the production of aqueous humor (fluid of the eye). So, by inhibiting beta receptors, there is a reduction in aqueous humor production and therefore, intraocular pressure reduces. It is important that your soft contact lenses are removed before using this medicine and not placed back into your eyes for at least 15 minutes. Prior to the treatment, your doctor may want you to take certain eye tests to understand your existing condition

Acular Ophthalmic Solution is a pain-relieving medicine. It is used after eye surgery to treat pain and inflammation. It may also be used for other conditions such as seasonal allergies. This medicine is used generally for short-term treatment only.
Acular Ophthalmic Solution should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water to avoid contamination. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. The dropper tip should not come in direct contact with the affected area as there are chances of infection. Wipe off extra liquid.
This medicine is generally safe to use with minimal side effects. However, it may cause a stinging and burning sensation immediately after installation. However, these are temporary and usually resolve on their own. If they d not go away or get worse, consult your doctor.

Atrop Eye Drops 5 ml belongs to a group of medicines called mydriatics and cycloplegics used to treat uveitis or iritis (inflammation in the eye) and myopia (near-sightedness). It is also indicated for cycloplegia (paralysis of the ciliary eye muscle), mydriasis (dilation of the pupil), and the penalisation of the healthy eye in the treatment of amblyopia (decreased eyesight due to abnormal vision development). Besides this, Atrop Eye Drops 5 ml is also used before certain eye examinations to widen the pupil and to diagnose eye problems such as blurred vision in children below 6 years and in children with convergent strabismus (cross-eyes or squint).
Atrop Eye Drops 5 ml contains ‘atropine’, which relaxes the muscles in the eye, thereby making the pupil of the eye appear larger. This makes it easier for an eye examination. Atrop Eye Drops 5 ml reduces pain and allows the inflamed part of the eye to rest and recover by relaxing the eye muscles.
Aurocaine Eye Drop contains Proparacaine which belongs to the group of medicines called Local anesthetic agents. It is indicated for topical anesthesia in ophthalmic practice. It is used to cause temporary numbness of the eye, prior to any eye examination (such as tonometry or gonioscope) or ophthalmic procedures (such as cataracts, conjunctival scraping or removal of sutures or foreign bodies from the eye).
Proparacaine is a fast-acting local anesthetic agent. Aurocaine Eye Drop is a very fast acting anesthetic agent which brings in anesthesia within 30 seconds of application and the anesthetic effects may last up to 10-15 minutes or longer.

Prior to the treatment, your doctor may want you to take certain eye tests to understand your existing condition.
Before using AUROPROST RT EYE DROPS, inform your doctor if you or your child have eye problems (pain, irritation or inflammation of eyes, blurred vision or dry eyes) or viral infection of the eye. Also inform your doctor if you have severe asthma, are using contact lens or going to have an eye surgery (cataract surgery).
