GESTEROL 100MG INJECTION contains Progesterone which belongs to the group of medicines called Steroid hormones. It is used to treat amenorrhea (missed periods) and abnormal uterine bleeding (abnormal bleeding from the womb cavity) due to hormonal imbalance in the absence of organic pathology like submucous fibroids or uterine cancer.
It can also be used as a progesterone supplementation in women (34 years of age and younger) who cannot use vaginal preparations and undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) or treatment in an Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) program.
Before receiving GESTEROL 100MG INJECTION inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney, or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have diabetes, asthma, epilepsy or migraine headaches before receiving GESTEROL 100MG INJECTION as a precaution.
