OFLO DM is a combination of Dexamethasone and Ofloxacin which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids and Antibiotics respectively. It is indicated for steroid-responsive inflammatory ocular conditions for which a corticosteroid is indicated and where bacterial ocular infection or a risk of bacterial ocular infection exists.
Before the treatment, your doctor may advise you to have blood tests to understand your existing condition and the type of bacteria causing infection. Do not wear contact lenses if you have an eye infection or while using this medicine. Avoid touching the tip of the nostril as it would get contaminated.
