Baidyanath (Jhansi) Nityanand Ras Tablet is a traditional Ayurvedic medicine primarily used for the management of shleepad, also known as elephantiasis, which is caused by lymphatic filariasis. This disease is characterized by the blockage of the lymphatic system by parasitic worms, resulting in the accumulation of fluid in tissues and swelling of the limbs or other body parts. The affected areas become inflamed, hot, and may exhibit extreme swelling, resembling an elephant’s foreleg. Nityanand Ras Tablet helps alleviate symptoms associated with elephantiasis, including swelling, inflammation, nausea, headache, and fever.
