Auroprost RT Eye Drop contains Latanoprost which belongs to the group of medicines called Prostaglandin analogs. It is used to treat open angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension (both linked to increased pressure in the eye). Glaucoma is a group of diseases characterized by gradual damage to the optic nerve (nerves that carry visual messages), that may result in loss of vision. Prior to the treatment, your doctor may want you to take certain eye tests to understand your existing condition.
Before using Auroprost RT Eye Drop, inform your doctor if you or your child have eye problems (pain, irritation or inflammation of eyes, blurred vision or dry eyes) or viral infection of the eye. Systane Gel Drop Lubricant Eye Gel is to be used only in the affected eye in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. Do not use it too much or too little than the prescribed amount. Use it in the exact dose and duration as advised by the doctor.
