Thymogam 250mg Antithymocyte Globulin Equine Injection is used for the prevention of organ rejection in transplant patients. It regulates the body’s immune response, so the body can accept the new organ.
Thymogam 250mg Injection must be taken by following the instructions written in the label or as per the doctor’s guidance. You must receive the exact dose of it as per the prescription. An overdose of this medicine may have serious side effects on the body.
The common side effects of this medicine are urinary tract infection, abdominal pain, nausea, shortness of breath, fever, headache, anxiety, chills, infections, etc. It may also cause an injection site reaction (redness, pain, and swelling). The medicine can safely be used in children. Inform the doctor immediately if you experience any allergic reactions such as rash, shortness of breath, coughing, swelling, etc.

Before receiving Mitotax 100mg Injection, inform your doctor if you had previously received radiation to your chest and/or suffering from thrombocytopenia (low platelet count)/acute infections (such as herpes zoster, chickenpox, herpes), kidney problems (such as chronic kidney disease), liver problems (such as mild/moderate hepatic impairment) and/or heart problems (such as severe coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction and arrhythmias).
Mitotax 100mg Injection is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Women of child-bearing potential should use effective contraception method while receiving Mitotax 100mg Injection which should be continued for next-6 months after completing the management. The medicine is also not recommended for use in breastfeeding women.
